St John's Side Chapel

So much of life at St. John's is based around a good cup of tea. We grab our cuppa's around quarter to ten and have a catch up, before Bible Study starts in earnest at 10am, so please don't worry if you can't join us until then. Bible study is in the side chapel with the glass door which you'll see to the right, past the Grand Piano as you enter St. John's. Bring a bible if you like, but we have plenty.

Typically we will study on a topic for a few weeks; The Lords Prayer, The Beatitudes, the Books of the Old Testament, Epistles, Gospels and Characters of the Bible etc. Studies, readings and chatter are often interlaced with short video's from experts. We enjoy the etymology of words, concordances, philosophers, inward reflection and sharing opinion. It doesn't matter if you've never read the bible or you've studied theology, we are grateful for all perceptions and learn from one another in this small, friendly and dynamic group. We hope you can join us even if you don't usually worship at St John's..
