Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace.” — 1 Peter 4:10
As you will have gathered, our dear Rosemary is retiring— so we’re on the lookout for a new Churchwarden to be elected at our Annual Parish Meeting on 18th May! This is a fantastic opportunity to serve, grow, and be a joyful part of something truly special at St John’s. And don’t worry — you won’t be doing it alone! You’ll be surrounded by a supportive, friendly team every step of the way. There are also openings on our Parochial Church Council (PCC) — perfect if you’re passionate about helping shape the future of our church family. Could this be your time to step in and step up? As we prayerfully wait for a new priest, we give thanks for our wonderful ministry team: Reader Ruth, Ordinand Juliet, Lay Worship Minister Carol-Ann, visiting clergy, and of course Rev’d Chris at The Holy Innocents. Juliet is available for a chat in church on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, or you can email her at [email protected]. You’ll also find Tony at church every Monday at 9:30am if you’d like to talk or ask questions. Let’s come together — with prayer, action, and joy — to keep the light of St John’s shining brightly! And here’s an easy win: support St John’s while you shop online through Easy Fundraising: https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/sjcs/ Let’s make this a season of growth, joy, and unity — together! PLEASE do complete and return your electoral roll forms if you worship with us. We need to count up by early May ! Summer Holiday Club - mornings of Mon-Fri 11th-15th August - children under 5 to be accompanied. To volunteer or to book your child in please contact Juliet.
