Here we have two photos of the Meadow Saxifrage Saxifraga granulata which grows only on one grave in the oldest part of St. John’s! The photos were taken in 2024.
It flowers from late April into May and is an indicator species for old meadow/grassland – a hint as to what was present before the churchyard was consecrated! -Jill
